Chicory roots are stored for up to 12 months or more. It goes without saying that optimal storage conditions are very important in order to maximize the chicory root’s quality and productive properties until the very end. Regular manual inspections of multiple boxes per batch are very important, as major differences can arise between and within the batches in a cold store. This often means that measures are needed for a whole room in a cold store depot, but sometimes also for batch-specific measures such as transporting a batch or part of a batch to another room in the cold store or for humidification. We monitor the batches in your cold store or at a cold store rental elsewhere.
